ויליאם מוריס

ויליאם מוריס (1834–1896) הוא אחת הדמויות הנודעות ביותר באמנויות הדקורטיביות. כמעצב טקסטיל פיתח סגנון מקורי שהקסים את בני דורו ומאז הפך לנקודת התייחסות לכל המתעניינים בעיצוב ודקורציה. סימניה זו הינה רפרודוקציה של טקסטיל שנוצר בשנת 1881, התקופה שבה עבודתו של מוריס נודעה בעולם, והיא נותרה פופולרית עד היום.
