Our Brazilian Orchid journal features an image originally published in Sir Joseph Paxton’s famed botanical collection, Magazine of Botany and Register of Flowering Plants. Paxton was a celebrated horticulturalist, and his periodical was greatly prized for its handpainted images, such as the one reproduced here.
